License
Embers is open-source software under the MIT License
In plain words
- The source code is free to use, copy, change and share — including in other projects, commercial or not — as long as the copyright notice and the license text below go with it.
- The copy of Embers on the App Store is a paid download. The price pays for publishing and maintaining the app on Apple's platforms; it does not change the license of the code.
- The software comes with no warranty. Embers helps you keep track of money, but it is not financial advice, and you are responsible for checking your own figures.
- The license covers the code. It does not grant use of the Embers name or icon to identify a different app.
